New quarter. New project. 💙This quarter we are supporting Tehila in Zambia.Protecting Children Together.Tehila works with children and communities to prevent and respond to violence against children and create safer environments for them.Their work includes child safeguarding training, empowering children through ToughTalks resources and strengthening local communities. Two years ago, while travelling in Japan, I met my friend Obet from Zambia. We share a love for running and a heart for children.Obet inspired me to support a children’s charity in his home country. During my recent visit to Sapporo, we met again – and for me, it felt like the right moment to support Tehila as our next project. 💙Throughout this quarter, every kilometre I run, cycle, swim or hike will once again become a donation.1 kilometre = €1You can join by moving, donating or simply sharing this project.Every kilometre matters. BEN hilft! – Stark gegen DIPG e.V.Antje and I had originally planned to meet in person for the donation handover. Unfortunately, severe thunderstorms made that impossible, so we held the handover virtually instead.Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we were able to donate € 2,966 to BEN hilft! – Stark gegen DIPG e.V.This donation will provide direct support to children and families affected by DIPG, a rare and highly aggressive brain tumour. It will also help fund vital research, as there is still no cure for this devastating disease.A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined the Quarter Charity Run, made a donation, or supported this project in any way.
