Running for children in Cuba 🇨🇺
A very special day for 𝟒𝟐.𝟏𝟗𝟓 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧.
I had the honour of handing over a donation of EUR 2,128 to the Camaquito, Cuba.
Camaquito is a non-profit organisation creating access to sports, education, culture and environmental programs for children, youth and families in Cuba. Maikel Amalie accepted the cheque as an ambassador for Camaquito. She is a famous Cuban actress with a big heart for children.
For me, it is my first time in Cuba. I was so excited to travel. And, curious about the country, the people, the culture. I’m thrilled by the hospitality and exciting history of Cuba. Mostly I was impressed by the zest for life that can be felt in every street of Havana.
The amount of EUR 2,128 was raised thanks to the many dedicated runners and generous donors - every kilometre and every donation made a difference.
