My name is Anton Emanuel. I am only 20 years old, and together with my 19-year-old wife, we are struggling to survive with our three little children, aged 11 months, 2 years, and 4 years. Writing this is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, but we have reached a point where we no longer have any other choice.

Right now, we are at serious risk of losing our home because we cannot afford to pay our rent. The fear of becoming homeless with three small children is something no parent should ever have to live with. Every day and every night, this fear is always in our hearts.

I work in a warehouse (Lager) and earn around 1,200€ per month. I work as hard as I can, but unfortunately, it is still not enough to cover rent, food, diapers, bills, and the basic needs of a family of five. No matter how much we try, we are constantly falling behind instead of moving forward.

We are not asking for luxury. We are only asking for a chance to stay safe, to have a roof over our children’s heads, and to be able to move into a new rented home where our kids can sleep without fear of tomorrow.
