Description

Lumi is a tiny stray dog whom I found in the middle of August in Girokastra, south of Albania.

Very sick and weak she was hiding in the rubbish which had been left in a dirty ruin.

After the first vet refused to help her, he sent me to the city hall. There they said they would help her in the municipality shelter. After I left her to that second vet, I heard that the municipality shelters mistreat and often kills the dogs. So I went back to find her again.

Indeed, her condition got much worse. So I smuggled her to a vet in Tirana whom I had been recommended for stray dogs. There she gets treated now.

In beginning of October she will be ready to travel to Germany. I am trying to find a loving home for her here.

The complete costs for her treatment, hospitalisation and transportation will be around 1000€.

Donations are more than welcome πŸ™πŸ½πŸ’žπŸ€πŸ’«πŸΆ 1000 thanks in the name of Lumi
