Liebe Basketballfamilie,

Mubarak "Mubi" Salami, einer der talentiertesten Basketballer Hamburgs, ist im Alter von gerade einmal 26 Jahren am Freitag, den 24. Februar 2023, in Folge eines tragischen Autounfalls ums Leben gekommen. Basketball war sein Leben.

Mit dieser Spendenaktion möchten wir seine Eltern und insbesondere seine sechs jüngeren Geschwister finanziell unterstützen, so wie es auch "Mubi" als liebender Sohn und ältester Bruder immer getan hat. Die gesammelten Spenden sollen Mubarak's Eltern für die jetzt anstehenden Kosten und darüber hinaus zur freien Nutzung zur Verfügung gestellt werden, um so zumindest den finanziellen Druck ein wenig zu lindern und eventuell auch etwas Gutes und Nachhaltiges in "Mubi's" Sinne und Andenken zu bewirken. Daher wäre es wünschenswert, wenn wir es zusammen schaffen, sogar mehr als die Zielsumme zu sammeln. Jede Spende zählt, ganz egal welcher Betrag.

Dear basketball family,

Mubarak "Mubi" Salami, one of Hamburg's most talented basketball players, died at the age of just twenty-six on Friday, February 24th, 2023 as a result of a tragic car accident. Basketball was his life.

With this fundraiser we would like to support Mubi's parents and especially his six younger siblings financially, just as "Mubi" always did as a very loving son and the eldest brother.

The collected donations will be given to Mubarak's parents to cover the forthcoming costs and beyond that for their free use, to at least relieve the financial pressure a little bit and possibly to cause something good and sustainable in "Mubi's" sense and memory. It would therefore be desirable if we could all together manage to collect even more than the target sum. Every donation counts, no matter the amount.
