Nicht wegen Verschuldung, sondern wegen monatelanger Verzögerungen in einem Sozialleistungsverfahren ist eine Person aus unserem Umfeld aktuell akut von Wohnungsverlust bedroht.

Nach einer längeren Krankheit wurde die Person nach einem mehrjährigen Verfahren als dauerhaft erwerbsgemindert eingestuft. Die Erwerbsminderungsrente wurde jedoch erst drei Monate nach dem Bescheid ausgezahlt. In dieser Zeit gab es kein Einkommen.

Erst mit dem offiziellen Rentenbeginn konnte Unterstützung zum Lebensunterhalt beantragt werden. Dieser Antrag liegt nun seit über drei Monaten beim Sozialamt, obwohl alle Unterlagen vollständig eingereicht wurden. Inzwischen wurde der Antrag zusätzlich an das Sozialamt des früheren Wohnortes weitergegeben, wodurch sich das Verfahren weiter verzögert.

Aktuell stehen der Person nur 250 € Rente im Monat zur Verfügung.

Davon kann niemand leben! Außerdem gibt es keine Familie oder Rücklagen, die in dieser Situation helfen könnten.

Ein sehr sparsamer Lebensunterhalt (Miete 650€ , Lebensmittel + Grundbedarf 200€ und Kosten für den Hund 50€) liegt bei etwa 900–1.000 € pro Monat.

Warum wir diese Kampagne starten:

Die Spenden sollen helfen, die Zeit zu überbrücken, bis das Sozialamt eine Entscheidung trifft und die zustehenden Leistungen ausgezahlt werden.

Spendenziel:

Wir möchten die nächsten Monate überbrücken und die bisherigen Mietschulden (1400€) zusammenstemmen.

Ziel: ca. 5.500 - 6.000 €

Damit können Miete, Lebensmittel, Medikamente, Grundbedarf und die Versorgung des Hundes gedeckt werden und ein Wohnungsverlust verhindert werden.

Die Person möchte aufgrund gesellschaftlicher Stigmata anonym bleiben - die Spenden werden über das Konto einer Person aus dem Freund*innenkreis verwaltet und vollständig an die betroffene Person weitergeleitet.

Not due to personal debt, but because of months-long delays in a social benefits procedure, a person from our community is currently at immediate risk of losing their housing.

After a long illness and a multi-year administrative process, the person was officially recognized as permanently unable to work. However, the disability pension was only paid out three months after the decision. During this period, there was no income.

Only once the pension officially began could the person apply for financial assistance to cover basic living costs. This application has now been with the social welfare office for more than three months, even though all required documents were submitted. In the meantime, the case was transferred to the social welfare office of the person’s previous place of residence, which has caused further delays.

Currently, the person receives only 250€ per month in disability pension.

No one can live on that. There is also no family support or financial reserves that could help in this situation.

Even a very modest monthly budget - rent (650€), food and basic necessities (200€), and minimal costs for a dog (50€) - amounts to about 900 - 1000€ per month.

Why we are starting this campaign

The donations will help bridge the time until the social welfare office makes a decision and the benefits the person is entitled to are finally paid.

We want to cover the coming months and also address the existing rent debt (1400€).

This would help cover rent, food, medication, basic necessities, and the care of the dog, and prevent the person from losing their home.

Due to social stigma, the person wishes to remain anonymous. Donations will therefore be managed through the account of a trusted friend and fully passed on to the person in need.
