Just celebrated Christmas in Hamburg and traveled to Israel as a family, and suddenly everything is different.

Freda has lost her husband and is suddenly a widow after 1.5 years of happy marriage. Little Leo now has to grow up and live without his father. On January 24, 2026, Gilad passed away. So many shattered dreams. A sea of suffering. 

Tragedy remains tragedy, but what we can do is give this little family some breathing space. To take a deep breath, process what has happened, and start afresh. Leo will need his mother completely for quite some time now. Freda is strong and will get through this. But let's help her find new hope.

Eben noch Weihnachten in Hamburg gefeiert und als Familie nach Israel gereist und plötzlich ist alles anders.

Freda hat ihren Mann verloren und ist nach 1,5 Jahren glücklicher Ehe plötzlich Witwe. Der kleine Leo muss nun ohne seinen Vater groß werden und leben. Am 24. Januar 2026 ist Gilad von uns gegangen. So viele geplatzte Träume. Ein Meer von Leid. 

Tragödie bleibt Tragödie, aber was wir tun können, ist der kleinen Familie Luft zu verschaffen. Zum Durchatmen, Verarbeiten und neu Sortieren. Leo wird seine Mutter gerade jetzt eine ganze Zeit lang voll und ganz brauchen. Freda ist stark und wird das schaffen. Aber lasst uns ihr helfen, neue Hoffnung zu schöpfen.
