Emergency Relief for Earthquake Victims in Myanmar
Mudita Community Reaches Out to Help
Join us in supporting those affected by the devastating 7.7 magnitude earthquake.
On March 28, a powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck central Myanmar, devastating the Mandalay and Sagaing regions. Thousands of people have lost their homes, and entire communities are left without shelter. Roads and bridges have been destroyed, making it extremely difficult for emergency responders to reach affected areas. With the risk of buildings collapsing, many families are too afraid to return home and are now forced to live on the streets.
The situation is critical. Immediate support is needed to provide:
The Mudita Foundation has been working on the Thai-Myanmar border for the past three years, supporting refugee families and running a school that now provides free education to over 100 students. Our mission has always been rooted in community and solidarity.
Today, our focus turns to our friends and family members in Myanmar, who are now in urgent need.
Many of our teachers, students, and staff have loved ones in the Mandalay and Sagaing regions. While our school in Mae Sot felt the tremors, we were spared – but those close to us were not. We are mobilizing emergency relief and are coordinating with trusted local networks to ensure that every donation directly reaches those who need it most.
Please consider making a donation or sharing this message. Together, we can bring hope and help to those in crisis.
