A family from Sudan living in Kairo needs help

Einen großen Dank an alle Spender*innen! Dank des Geldes kann die Familie seit vielen Monaten in einer Wohnung zusammen wohnen und sie müssen nicht mehr auf der Straße schlafen. Und es bleibt ihnen ein wenig Geld für Essen. Neuigkeiten:Am 17.08.2025 schrieb er:"These days I’m working most of the day because Retal got a scholarship & she may start going to school in few days so we should buy her a uniform & some other school stuff so I spend most of the day working (collecting empty cans & plastic vessels)"Am 31. 08. schrieb er dann:"my mobile phone was damaged about a week ago because I was assaulted & attacked by a group of garbage teenagers, my eye glass was broken too."

I wish I could reply to all those who donated, those real human beings who cut from their own needs & choose to give us & those who helped us by feeling our crises & share our worries,, I’m grateful for everyone who felt for us & it’s really good to see humanity glow in this harsh time... we can only have love & appreciation for all ❤️

Vielen, vielen Dank an alle großzügigen Spender*innen! Ich konnte der Familie für den kommenden Monat 230 € überweisen. Damit können sie die nächste Miete bezahlen und haben noch ein wenig Geld für Essen und was man noch so braucht. DANKE 🙏er hat gerade geschrieben (habe es ein wenig gekürzt) : Thank you so much! … we were packing to move out of the room by the 4th of the next month. …. We are smiling with tears (as they say in Sudan) for feeling relief of not moving out … ❤️

Dank der großzügigen Spenden auch im März konnte ich der Familie heute 300 € schicken. Damit können sie die Miete für den April zahlen, hoffentlich passende Kleidung für die Kinder besorgen und Essen kaufen. Eventuell muss auch der Sohn nochmals untersucht werden... DANKE!!!!! Liebe Grüße

28.2.2025: Dank der neuen großzügigen Spenden konnte ich der Familie heute 300 € schicken. Herzlichen Dank!Damit können sie die Miete für den März bezahlen und haben noch Geld übrig für Essen und für weitere Untersuchungen des siebenjährigen Sohnes, der durch die Strapazen der Flucht erkrankt ist. (Er könnte in einem Krankenhaus untersucht und behandelt werden, doch dafür müsste die Familie insgesamt 380 € zahlen).
