*** ENGLISH VERSION BELOW ***

  • Marketing Training

Was uns wichtig ist:

*****  ENGLISH VERSION  ****

The corona pandemic and the global impact of the war in Ukraine weakened the Ghanaian economy and promoted inflation. Food prices have increased rapidly, therefore the risk of poverty expanded.

We witnessed that in our community in Kokrobite as well. To encounter the consequences in a way, we decided to organize two workshops in cooperation with the non-profit organization WAYEOK. These workshops shall give young people the opportunity to start their own businesses since there is a lack of jobs.

The workshops include courses about sandal production and traditional pottery. Both craftworks are easy and fast to learn and there is a market and demand for both kinds of products.

What we will offer to the participants:

  • Theoretical and practical crafts training
  •  Marketing training
  • Warm Lunch
  •  Tools to start their own business
  • Support after the workshops

What is important to us:

Quality over Quantity:

The participants will be supervised in small groups to make sure that they can be supported individually and will learn all necessary skills. This happens through creating a pleasant surrounding and a productive learning environment. Furthermore, we see a high value in the practical working.

Tools:

We will provide all necessary tools to the participants in our workshops. This way they will be able to start crafting directly after the workshop without having to bear high investments.

Catering:

High-quality bottled water and a warm lunch will be supplied during the workshops to all participants and instructors.

Local Cooperation:

The workshops will be executed with the collaboration of local craftswomen. Both of them will share their knowledge, skills and experiences with the participants.
