My granddaughter Magdalénka was born with a benign tumor that affects her health every single day. She is only a baby, yet she has already undergone several medical procedures, and now she faces three more surgeries, including reconstructive treatment.

We regularly visit the vascular department, where doctors monitor the tumor, blood flow and possible complications. These visits are frequent, stressful and financially demanding.

She requires daily medication that is not covered by insurance, as well as travel for hospital appointments, rehabilitation and special medical care.

As her foster grandmother, I am doing everything I can, but I can no longer manage all the costs on my own.
