Elin is seven years old. She’s in Amman, Jordan, with her parents and little sister.
Since early 2025, she has been fighting cancer - first in Gaza and, thanks to the efforts of many people, she was finally evacuated to Amman in June. The family was not allowed to take anything except the clothes on their backs.
In Amman, they have food and a roof over their heads- but no money. They depend entirely on the goodwill of private donors.
Now Elin is safe, but her treatment continues, and her family has nothing left.
If you want to help Elin and her family, you can.
Your contribution will go directly toward their daily needs - clothes, basic necessities, books, even a small stove.
How it works:
Caroline in Germany, who first shared Elin’s story on LinkedIn in June (“What it takes to get a sick girl out of Gaza”), receives the donations and transfers them via Western Union to Sarah, a therapist in Amman. Sarah regularly visits the family and gives them the funds in person.
Elin’s story has already received international attention — it was reported by Al Jazeera and All Eyes on Palestine in May, and Caroline’s LinkedIn post was shared widely by LinkedIn members across the world.
Let’s make sure the next chapter of Elin’s story is one of healing, not hardship.
