On August 1, 2025, my family's life changed in an instant. A fire broke out in the kitchen of my mother's apartment, where I lived with my 11-year-old brother (who has hemiparesis) and our single mother.

The kitchen was completely destroyed, and all other rooms suffered severe damage as well (covered in soot, filled with CO2, and with crumbling walls).

Sadly, the apartment is no longer habitable. Worst of all: my mother did not have household insurance.

We didn’t just lose our home, we also lost many things essential for everyday life: furniture, appliances, but most importantly, our sense of safety and structure.

This situation is especially hard on my little brother, who not only depends heavily on stability due to his physical condition, but is now also deeply affected by the loss of his home.

We are now forced to move out, without knowing where we’ll go or how we’ll afford it.

That’s why I’ve started this fundraising campaign.

We urgently need financial support to:

• find a new place to live

• purchase essential items for daily life (e.g., a bed, sofa, stove)

• give my little brother a sense of normalcy again (he will be attending school and therapy starting in September)

Our goal is to raise €50,000 to rebuild a safe home. I’m currently a student, working part-time and trying to help as much as I can, but our resources simply aren’t enough. That’s why we’re asking for your support. Every euro helps. Even sharing this campaign means a great deal to us.

El 1 de agosto de 2025, la vida de mi familia cambió de un momento a otro. En el apartamento de mi madre, donde vivía con mi hermano pequeño (de 11 años, con hemiparesia) y nuestra madre soltera, se produjo un incendio en la cocina. La cocina quedó completamente destruida y el resto de la vivienda ha sufrido graves daños (hollín, gases tóxicos, paredes deterioradas).

El apartamento ya no es habitable. Lo peor: mi madre no tenía un seguro del hogar.

No solo hemos perdido nuestro hogar, sino también muchas cosas necesarias para la vida diaria: muebles, electrodomésticos, pero sobre todo seguridad y estructura.

La situación es especialmente difícil para mi hermano pequeño, quien, debido a su discapacidad física, necesita una rutina estable. La pérdida de nuestro hogar lo afecta profundamente.

Nos vemos obligados a mudarnos sin saber adónde ir ni con qué recursos.

Por eso, he iniciado esta campaña de donaciones. Necesitamos urgentemente apoyo económico para:

• encontrar una nueva vivienda

• adquirir lo básico para el día a día (por ejemplo: cama, sofá, cocina)

• brindarle a mi hermano pequeño algo de normalidad (en septiembre comienza la escuela y su terapia)

Nuestro objetivo es reunir 50.000 € para reconstruir un hogar seguro. Yo estudio, trabajo a tiempo parcial e intento ayudar en todo lo posible, pero nuestros medios no son suficientes.

am 1.8.2025 hat sich das Leben meiner Familie von einem Moment auf den anderen verändert. In der Wohnung meiner Mutter, in der ich mit meinem kleinen Bruder (11 Jahre alt, mit Hemiparese) und unserer alleinerziehenden Mutter gelebt habe, ist in der Küche ein Brand ausgebrochen. Die Küche wurde vollständig zerstört, und auch alle anderen Räume sind schwer beschädigt (verrußt, von CO2 durchzogen und mit abgebröckelten Wänden)

Die Wohnung ist leider unbewohnbar. Das schlimmste daran: Meine Mutter hatte keine Haushaltsversicherung.

Wir haben nicht nur unser Zuhause verloren, sondern auch viele Dinge, die für das tägliche Leben notwendig sind: Möbel, Geräte, vor allem aber Sicherheit und Struktur.

Besonders hart trifft es meinen kleinen Bruder, der nicht nur durch seine körperliche Einschränkung besonders auf Stabilität angewiesen ist, sondern nun auch durch den Verlust seines Zuhauses stark belastet ist.

Wir sind gezwungen, auszuziehen, und zwar ohne zu wissen, wohin genau und mit welchen Mitteln.

Aus diesem Grund habe ich diese Spendenaktion gestartet.

Wir benötigen dringend finanzielle Unterstützung, um:

• eine neue Unterkunft zu finden

• das Nötigste für den Alltag (z. B. Bett, Sofa, Herd) anzuschaffen

• meinem kleinen Bruder wieder ein Stück Normalität zu ermöglichen (er wird ab September zur Schule und Therapie gehen)

Unser Ziel sind 50.000 €, um wieder ein sicheres Zuhause aufzubauen. Ich selbst studiere, arbeite nebenbei und versuche so gut es geht mitzuhelfen, aber unsere Mittel reichen einfach nicht aus.

1 Ağustos 2025 tarihinde ailemizin hayatı bir anda değişti. Annemin evinde – annem, 11 yaşındaki (hemiparezi hastası) kardeşim ve ben birlikte yaşıyorduk – mutfakta yangın çıktı.

Mutfak tamamen yandı ve diğer tüm odalar da ciddi şekilde zarar gördü (isle kaplı, karbonmonoksit dolu ve duvarlar çatlamış durumda).

Maalesef artık ev yaşanabilir halde değil. En kötüsü: Annemin ev eşyası sigortası yoktu.

Sadece evimizi değil, günlük yaşam için gerekli olan birçok şeyi de kaybettik: mobilyalar, ev aletleri ve en önemlisi, güvenlik ve düzen duygumuzu.

Bu durum özellikle küçük kardeşim için çok zor. Hem fiziksel durumu nedeniyle istikrara çok ihtiyaç duyuyor hem de şimdi evini kaybetmiş olmanın derin etkisini yaşıyor.

Şu an taşınmak zorundayız, ama nereye gideceğimizi ve bunu nasıl karşılayacağımızı bilmiyoruz.

Bu yüzden bu bağış kampanyasını başlattım.

Acil olarak maddi desteğe ihtiyacımız var:

• Yeni bir ev bulmak

• Günlük yaşam için temel eşyaları almak (yatak, kanepe, ocak)

• Kardeşime yeniden bir “normalik" duygusu kazandırmak (Eylül ayında tekrar okula ve terapiye başlayacak)
