We’re reaching out during a difficult time to ask for your support with something deeply important — and time-sensitive.

Our friend Faris is one of the kindest and most resilient people we know. He came to Germany three years ago after being forced to flee Afghanistan when the regime changed. His journey — by land and sea — was long and dangerous, his only chance to survive. But arriving in Germany wasn’t a guarantee of safety or stability. Like many others, he continues to face systematic violence and violations of his basic human rights, which have taken a toll on his physical and mental health.

Now, his younger brother Nadim, still a minor, has had to take the same path — alone. Their family is scattered across different countries, each struggling to survive. Reuniting the brothers isn’t just about being together — it’s about giving them safety, stability, and dignity

Right now, the biggest hurdle is financial.

This is where we need your help. ❤️

We know this is a big ask, and of course, no single person can cover it all — but if we each contribute what we can, no matter how small, we can make this happen. Every bit truly makes a difference.

Les escribimos en un momento difícil para pedirles su apoyo con algo muy importante — y urgente.

Nuestro amigo Faris es una de las personas más amables y fuertes que conocemos. Llegó a Alemania hace tres años, después de verse obligado a huir de Afganistán cuando cambió el régimen. Su viaje — por tierra y mar — fue largo y peligroso, su única oportunidad de sobrevivir. Pero llegar a Alemania no significó estar a salvo ni tener estabilidad. Como muchas otras personas, sigue enfrentando violencia sistemática y violaciones a sus derechos humanos, lo que ha afectado su salud física y mental.

Ahora, su hermano menor Nadim, que todavía es menor de edad, tuvo que tomar el mismo camino — solo. Su familia está repartida en distintos países, todos tratando de sobrevivir. Reunir a los hermanos no se trata solo de estar juntos, sino de darles seguridad, estabilidad y dignidad.

En este momento, el mayor obstáculo es el dinero.

Ahí es donde necesitamos su ayuda. ❤️

Sabemos que es mucho pedir, y por supuesto, una sola persona no puede cubrirlo todo — pero si cada uno aporta lo que pueda, aunque sea poquito, podemos hacerlo posible. Cada granito de arena cuenta.

Cada contribución irá directamente a Faris y Nadim, y vamos a ir compartiendo actualizaciones regularmente.

Wir melden uns in einer echt schwierigen Zeit, um euch um Hilfe bei etwas ganz Wichtigem – und Dringendem – zu bitten.

Unser Freund Faris ist einer der herzlichsten und stärksten Menschen, die wir kennen. Vor drei Jahren musste er aus Afghanistan fliehen, als sich das Regime änderte, und kam nach Deutschland. Seine Reise – zu Land und zu Wasser – war lang und gefährlich, seine einzige Chance zu überleben. Aber auch hier in Deutschland ist Sicherheit leider keine Selbstverständlichkeit. Wie viele andere erlebt er immer noch systematische Gewalt und Verstöße gegen seine grundlegenden Rechte – das hat Spuren an Körper und Seele hinterlassen.

Jetzt musste sein kleiner Bruder Nadim, der noch minderjährig ist, denselben Weg gehen – ganz allein. Ihre Familie ist über mehrere Länder verstreut, alle kämpfen ums Überleben. Die beiden wieder zusammenzubringen bedeutet viel mehr als nur Nähe – es geht darum, ihnen Sicherheit, Stabilität und Würde zu geben.

Im Moment ist das größte Hindernis einfach das Geld.

Und genau hier kommt ihr ins Spiel. ❤️

Wir wissen, das ist keine kleine Bitte – und klar, niemand kann das allein stemmen. Aber wenn jede*r ein bisschen gibt, egal wie viel, können wir das gemeinsam schaffen. Jeder Beitrag hilft wirklich.
