Sri Lanka is facing one of the most severe natural disasters in recent years. The Titwa Cyclone has caused widespread flooding and landslides, forcing thousands of families out of their homes. Many have lost everything – their shelter, belongings, and access to basic essentials such as food, clean water, and medical care. In such moments of crisis, even a small act of kindness can bring great hope.

United 17 is a volunteer-driven humanitarian organisation supported by Sri Lankans around the world. Our teams in Sri Lanka are working tirelessly to deliver urgently needed relief. This includes food packs, drinking water, medical supplies, hygiene kits, clothing, and support for temporary shelters. Every contribution helps us reach more families quickly and effectively.

To make it easier for supporters in Europe to donate, I – as a United 17 member and Sri Lankan living in Münster, Germany – created this donation page and am personally coordinating contributions from Europe. All donations received will be responsibly forwarded to support our ongoing relief operations in Sri Lanka.
