Joep is a 13 year old shetland pony with cute little spots all over his body!
Unfortunately, Joep has EMS, a metabolic disorder in horses causing several issues, including painful laminitis. Jeop has been struggling with laminitis on and off and now needs to move to a new home where he can recover with careful management, fitting to his diagnosis.
The treatment for laminitis and EMS is longterm and requires strict protocols and vet visits. The owner of Joep can't provide this anymore due to personal circumstances and sickness as well. With a lot of heartache they need to re-home him to a safe place, without the risk of getting sold over and over again because of his health conditions.
I can offer Joep the time & place, renting a space where he can recover and stay for good.
Help me fund Joep's moving, new home boarding and care costs for the next 6 month -
including specialised feed, hoof care and special shoes, as well as vet visits and medication.
He will thank you with every little dot on his body, having a bright future in front of him where he can be healthy and happy! He is a real star and cutiepatutie, loving all humans, especially the little ones! He will be ready to start his new life as coaching and therapy pony, once he is in full health again!
