_____________________________________ Finally, we could be sure that the 40' container arrived at the port of Lagos/Nigeria on 23.12.2021. The customs in Nigeria had then delayed everything. Because of the Christmas holidays and the turn of the year 2021/2022, everything dragged on until the container could finally be transported to Kexter's destination in Lagos. Added to this was the shock when the agent in Lagos, who had done all the processing in the container in the port in Lagos, then demanded 500 euros so that the container could be transported from the port to its destination. We had not taken these costs into account. Because of the urgency, we have asked many friends to provide us with quick financial help at short notice. This also worked with the promise to pay it back to them. Kexter was happily overwhelmed when he saw, among other donations in kind, the automatic car, the many wheelchairs, crutches, walkers and many other medical items. Later this year he is planning an event from his organization WELCENSUP (Welfare Center for Survivor's of Poliomyelitis). Here he will distribute the donated wheelchairs and other things to the needy and also invite the media. We would like to thank all donors in Germany and from other countries who, with their donations in cash and in kind, have made it possible for this POLIO project in Nigeria to be a complete success. Many thanks to everyone, also from Kexter Donald from NIGERIA.
