We’re raising €3,500 to bridge December/January gap and cover the setup costs to turn Space Of Hearts into a public-benefit, non-profit limited company so it can become more accessible to more people.

For the ones who know us already:

2025 was tough to be honest, it was for everyone. In a kind of quiet way. Less margin, more “not now,” maybe another time. December and January amplifies that — the calendar slows down, but rent, heating, insurance, admin… they don’t care that it’s January already.

This month, we need a bridge and we need your support.

For the ones who don’t know us:

Space Of Hearts is an art space and studio for cultural exchange in Berlin. We built it as a place for hands-on making, calm community, and cultural gatherings — a room where creative practice is allowed to be real. Not polished. Not performative. Just human. We host workshops and moments where people can return to themselves through the act of making.

We do this because we believe creative practice isn’t a luxury. It’s a way of staying alive. It's utterly human. And we want this space to remain an open door, not a barrier.

Where we’re headed:

We want to move Space Of Hearts into a new phase — not just as a studio, but as a structure that can hold support for people and make the space more accessible to more (including those who can’t simply “just pay” for everything).

That’s why we’re working toward founding a so called gUG, a public-benefit, charitable structure. It’s a step toward building something that isn’t dependent on month-to-month luck — and that can, over time, support others through subsidised spots, community formats, residencies and partnerships that align with our mission.

But getting there costs money: setup, formalities, lawyer, and professional support. And right now we can’t carry that on our own — especially not in these slowest months of the year.

So that's why we’re asking for your support.
