"Marie Juchacz - Auf der Route des Exils - Sur la route de l'exil - on the route to exil"

ist ein Forschungsprojekt 2023/24.

Ein Projekt der Erinnerung, der Freundschaft und gegen Rassismus.

Die Fokus der Forschung liegt auf Marie Juchacz (1879-1956), SPD-Reichstagsabgeordnete, Frauenrechtlerin und Gründerin der Arbeiterwohlfahrt (AWO). Sie floh 1933 aus Deutschland, nachdem sie sich die Jahre zuvor in ihren politischen Reden gegen den Nationalsozialismus gestemmt hatte.

90 Jahre danach fahre ich "auf der Route des Exils" durch Deutschland und Frankreich, an die Orte ihrer Flucht und ihres Wirkens im Widerstand gegen den Nationalsozialismus.

Die Tour beginnt am 2.5.2023 in Berlin und führt über 2600 km bis in den Süden Frankreichs, wo Marie Juchacz versteckt lebte, bis sie 1941 ihre Flucht in die USA fortsetzte. Mehr Infos unter: https://www.mariejuchacz.com

Im Nachgang werden die Eindrücke und Erkenntnisse wissenschaftlich weiterbearbeitet.

"Marie Juchacz - Auf der Route des Exils - Sur la route de l'exil - on the route to exil"

is a research project in 2023/24.

A project of remembrance, friendship and against racism.

The focus of the research is on Marie Juchacz (1879-1956), SPD member of the Reichstag, women's rights activist and founder of the Arbeiterwohlfahrt (AWO). She fled Germany in 1933 after having opposed against National Socialism in her political speeches in previous years.

90 years later I am driving "on the route of exile" through Germany and France, to the places where she escaped and where she worked in the resistance against National Socialism.

The tour begins on May 2nd, 2023 in Berlin and leads over 2600 km to the south of France, where Marie Juchacz lived hidden in a small village until she continued her escape to the USA in 1941. More information at: www.mariejuchacz.com - English

After the tour the essences of all the impressions and the local researched information will be worked to gain more scientific results.
