Hey everyone. As some of you may know, Hurricane Melissa hit the east of my country a few days ago.  A part of my family lives there, and our family home was heavily damaged.

The house was already old and fragile, and the storm brought a lot of moisture inside.  Now there is mold spreading, the walls are cracking, and parts of the ceiling are getting weak. 

It’s becoming unsafe to live in — but my family has nowhere else to go.Right now, it’s basically just my mother and me who are able to support them financially. 

We don’t have many resources and no one else in the family who can help. We would need around 500€ to repair the house and make it livable again. This would cover building materials and paying local workers to fix the walls and ceiling.

The donations will go directly to my bank card, and we will personally bring the money to our country in mid-December to start the repairs. 

I will share updates so everything is transparent.

I know many of us come from places where it’s crisis after crisis. So community support means a lot. And it's not easy for me to share something so personal — I’ve never done this before — but sometimes we have to ask for help when it's needed.
