Dear friends! Our campaign is taking off: After the application to revert to Christianity has been submitted to the High Court but the Attorney-General has ignored two deadlines, the High Court has now issued a last warning to set a date for a hearing by the end of the month. Let's keep up the pressure to serve justice for Christians in Pakistan and fulfill human rights and God's promise!

Legislative Milestones and New Deadlines
Michael Ickes · 31.03.2026
Dear friends and supporters,I would like to share an important update regarding our campaign. There have been significant legal shifts in Pakistan: The National Commission for Minorities Rights Bill 2025 was recently passed, establishing a statutory body to protect non-Muslim communities. This follows a landmark July 2025 Lahore High Court ruling where the court, for the first time, ordered the national database authority (NADRA) to officially recognize a convert's Christian faith on their ID card. Our campaign for Shikandar has become a crucial test to implement this legislative transformation within the executive branch. While the law is evolving, authorities often resist these changes; for instance, other families have seen only partial implementation of similar court orders, leaving them in legal limbo. In Shikandar’s specific case, progress has been slow. The Attorney-General missed the last judicial deadline, leading the High Court to set two new deadlines to intervene at the next higher level and move the case forward. We remain persistent so that Shikandar can officially return to his true faith before his wedding next year. This is crucial to ensure that his future wife and children do not have to endure the same religious conflict, discrimination, and "blasphemy risks" that have haunted Shikandar throughout his life.Thank you for standing with us on this challenging but path-breaking journey!

Jana Cavojska is with Adil Sikandar Randhawa in...
Michael Ickes · 14.11.2025
my office today... and sooo nice reunion I met Adil Sikandar Randhawa in Usivak refugee camp near Sarajevo 5 years ago. He went back to Bosnia last weekend to see the places where he started his journey in Europe. "What was now 1 hour flight took me 2 difficult years of journey before," he told me today.Young Christian from Pakistan, always hard working, always positive, smiling and optimistic. Journey he did costs life sometimes. Not sometimes, often. Or takes your soul and faith in good in people. He survived. Built new life in Italy near beautiful Como lake. He is like a movie character. But things he went through are not a film, not a fiction. But reality. Crazy. Hard. Many people are forced to take this road to save their lives.Just think about it.
