I am leading a private animal sanctuary & am working on healing the relationship between humans and animals while studying the wild nature behind domestication.

I am also employed as an educator and work in daycare. My income is hardly enough to take care of our basic expenses and we depend on our supporters on Patreon to live a secure life.

Now there are some big changes necessary in order to prepare for the comming winter and there is no way for me to do this all alone. Half of the roof of the barn, to which I moved with my cow herd last year, is missing. Last winter we absolutly drowned in mudd and the barn got flooded when ever there was heavy rain. So we'd need to stabilze the soil and build some protection from the water that is running down the hill. My pigs enclosure is turning into an absolut swamp as well. It is so bad that I can't walk in there at all during the winter months. That also means that I can't clean up their poop, there is no clean place to feed them, getting in dry bedding like straw & hay is extreamly challenging and I can't offer them any toys or material to keep their minds busy because everything simply drowns in up to 40cm of mudd. We'd need at least some area of their enclosure to be dry. On top of that I have to change the structure of one of their huts in order to be able to have doors that can be closed because it is a legal requirement to have a closable barn in case of an outbreak of african pig flu.

All of this should be changed befor the next winter. But how much of it is achivable is entirly dependand on the amound of support we'll receive.

I do have a few friends & supporters that are ready to help me make some of these changes, but I will most likely also need to pay some professionals.
