Liebe Freund:innen der Dresdner Clubs & Livemusikspielstätten,

Nach inzwischen vielen Monaten behördlich angeordneter Schließungen bzw. Einschränkungen hat uns die Krise noch immer fest im Griff. Durch die tief einschneidenden Maßnahmen, die zur Verlangsamung der Ausbreitung des Virus getroffen wurden, ist der gesamte Clubbetrieb und damit ein Großteil des Dresdner Kultur- und Nachtlebens zum Erkalten gekommen. Und es bewahrheitet sich die frühe Befürchtung, dass es die Clubs sein werden, die als letztes wieder in den Normalbetrieb gehen. Je länger dieser Zustand andauert, desto existenzbedrohender wird er für immer mehr Dresdner Clubs. Die Nerven der Betreibenden, das angestammte Personal, das Geld für laufende Kosten - alles nur begrenzt vorhanden und belastbar. 

Die Finanzspritzen vor allem des Bundes, aber auch von Land und Kommune sind der Grund, dass es die Dresdner Clubs nach Monaten ohne Umsätze aus Eintritten und Gastronomie noch gibt! Doch diese Hilfen dienen stets der bloßen Fixkostendeckung. Eine “Überkompensation” ist ausgeschlossen. Nun kann es aber auch in Krisenzeiten passieren, dass irgendwo ein Rohr bricht oder eine Leitung platzt. Aus diesem Grund sammeln wir weiter und stocken unseren Notfalltopf auf - für Unvorhersehbares, für dringenden Liquiditätsbedarf oder für den Fall, dass Clubs durch das Raster der Förderwürdigkeit fallen oder die Hilfen gar gänzlich eingestellt werden.

Das hier eingenommene Geld wird nach Deckung der laufenden Kosten vom Klubnetz Dresden im Sinne eines Notfalltopfs verwaltet. 8% der Einnahmen werden an die zivile Seenotrettung gespendet und 2,7% gehen an betterplace.

Dear friends of the Dresden clubs & live music venues,

After many months of officially ordered closures or restrictions, the crisis still has us firmly in its grip. Due to the far-reaching measures taken to slow down the spread of the virus, all clubs and thus a large part of Dresden's cultural and nightlife has come to a standstill. And the early fears that it would be the clubs that would be the last to return to normal operations have come true. The longer this state lasts, the more existence-threatening it becomes for more and more clubs in Dresden. The nerves of the club owners, the regular staff, the money for running costs - all of this is only available and resilient to a limited extent. 

The financial injections, especially from the federal government, but also from the state and local authorities, are the reason why the Clubs are still in existence after months without revenues! However, this aid always serves to cover fixed costs. Any "overcompensation" is excluded. Now, even in times of crisis it can happen that a pipe breaks or a line bursts somewhere. For this reason, we continue to collect and increase our emergency fund - for the unforeseeable, for urgent liquidity needs or in the event that clubs fall through the eligibility grid or the aid is even stopped altogether.
