Momentan krasiert die Feline Panleukopenie auf Sizilien.
Diese Katzenseuche eine hochansteckende, oft tödliche Virusinfektion, die vor allem junge Katzen befällt und den Magen-Darm-Trakt sowie das Immunsystem angreift, was zu Fieber, Erbrechen, Durchfall und Apathie führt. Sie wird durch ein sehr widerstandsfähiges Parvovirus verursacht, das durch Kontakt mit infizierten Tieren oder Gegenständen übertragen wird, aber durch eine effektive Impfung verhindert werden kann. Die Behandlung erfolgt durch Infusionen, Medikamente und strenge Hygiene, wobei junge Tiere besonders gefährdet sind. Es ist 5 vor zwölf !!!
Die Überlebenschance bei Katzenseuche ist ohne schnelle, intensive Behandlung gering (oft nur 10%), steigt aber mit frühzeitiger Therapie auf über 90%, besonders bei guter Unterstützung mit Infusionen und Medikamenten. Kätzchen und geschwächte Tiere haben schlechtere Prognosen. Vorbeugung durch Impfung ist der beste Schutz, da das Virus extrem widerstandsfähig ist. Finanzielle Hilfe ist dringend notwendig !!!

Questa malattia dei gatti è un'infezione virale altamente contagiosa e spesso mortale che colpisce soprattutto i gatti giovani e attacca il tratto gastrointestinale e il sistema immunitario, causando febbre, vomito, diarrea e apatia. È causata da un parvovirus molto resistente, che si trasmette attraverso il contatto con animali o oggetti infetti, ma può essere prevenuta con un'efficace vaccinazione. Il trattamento prevede flebo, farmaci e rigorosa igiene, con particolare attenzione ai cuccioli, che sono particolarmente a rischio. È l'ultima ora!!!

I gattini e gli animali indeboliti hanno prognosi peggiori. La prevenzione tramite vaccinazione è la migliore protezione, poiché il virus è estremamente resistente. È urgente un aiuto finanziaro. !!!
