In Murama Village, many women and adolescent girls face limited opportunities to earn an income, leaving them economically vulnerable and dependent on irregular support. Yet many of them are eager to work, learn, and provide for their families if given the right tools.
This project aims to equip women with sewing machines so they can turn tailoring skills into sustainable livelihoods. With access to proper equipment, participants can produce clothing, school uniforms, and household textiles for their community, generating reliable income and building financial independence.
Alongside providing sewing machines, the initiative also supports women through practical training, basic financial literacy, and savings group participation. These combined efforts help them manage earnings, grow small businesses, and plan for their families’ futures.
Our approach is hands-on, community-centered, and faith-driven—focused on restoring dignity, strengthening confidence, and empowering women from the inside out.
Impact: income for families, skills for life, confidence for women, and hope for the next generation.
