"The Caravan for Life and Water is not alone! 

If they touch one, they touch us all".

During 34 days, from March 22 to April 24, the caravan will make visible and connect the struggles of Puebla, Tlaxcala, Veracruz, Mexico City, Mexico State, Morelos, Oaxaca, Guerrero and Queretaro, as well as territories in the rest of the country, in other parts of North and South America, in Europe, Africa and Asia. This caravan is part of a process of support and denunciations of the escalation of violence against indigenous peoples and peasants. We are witnessing how the capitalist system is destroying lives and livelyhoods all over the planet. The caravan sheds light on the disposition, privatisation and exploitation of water. 

The Caravan for Water and Life was launched on March 22, World Water Day and on the first anniversary of the closure of the Bonafont/Danone plant in Juan C. Bonilla, Puebla, Mexico. The United Peoples of the Cholulteca region turned the squated plant into a community center called Altepelmecalli, from where the caravan began its jouney.

From the Caravan, we urge you to echo our rebellion and resist together the onslaught of this capitalist system and its protector states. Beside other ways to spread the ideas and stuggles of the caravan, we currently ask you for financial support.

We call for donations to pay for fuel, road tolls, rent of the tour bus, accomodation, meals, leaflets, travel expenses, etc.

CONVOCATORIA DE DONACIONES PARA LA CARAVANA POR EL AGUA Y LA VIDA: PUEBLOS UNIDOS CONTRA EL DESPOJO CAPITALISTA

Durante 34 días, del 22 de marzo al 24 de abril, la caravana visibilizará y conectará las luchas de Puebla, Tlaxcala, Veracruz, Ciudad de México, Estado de México, Morelos, Oaxaca, Guerrero y Querétaro, así como territorios del resto del país, de otras partes de Norte y Sudamérica, de Europa, África y Asia. Esta caravana es parte de un proceso de apoyo y denuncia de la escalada de violencia contra los pueblos indígenas y campesinos. Estamos siendo testigos de cómo el sistema capitalista está destruyendo vidas en todo el planeta. La caravana se enfoca sobre el despojo, la privatización y la explotación del agua. 

La Caravana por el Agua y la Vida se inició el 22 de marzo, Día Mundial del Agua y en el primer aniversario del cierre de la planta de Bonafont/Danone en Juan C. Bonilla, Puebla, México. Los Pueblos Unidos de la región Cholulteca convirtieron la planta ocupada en un centro comunitario llamado Altepelmecalli y desde este lugar la caravana inició su recorrido.

Desde la Caravana les invitamos a ser el eco de nuestra rebeldía y resistir juntos los embates de este sistema capitalista y sus estados protectores. Además de otras formas de difundir las ideas y luchas de la caravana, actualmente les pedimos apoyo económico.
