Description

In July, Team Germany will proudly travel to the GAA World Games in Waterford — one of the biggest international celebrations of Gaelic games. We are raising funds to support our Men’s and Women’s Gaelic Football, Hurling, and Camogie squads as they prepare to represent Germany on this global stage. Bringing together teams from across the globe, this tournament showcases not only sporting excellence but also the incredible growth of Irish culture and community worldwide.

Why we need your support

As an amateur, community-driven organisation, participation comes with significant personal cost for our players. Your contribution will go directly towards:

🏠 Accommodation costs during the tournament in Waterford

👕 Playing attire and equipment, including jerseys, shorts, and essential gear

🇩🇪 Supporting a diverse group of athletes from across Germany, many of whom balance work, study, and travel to compete

About Team Germany

Gaelic games in Germany have grown rapidly in recent years, bringing together people from German, Irish and other international backgrounds through sport, culture, and community. Our squads represent clubs from across Germany and reflect the passion and dedication that continues to drive the games forward.

For many players, this tournament is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to compete internationally and represent Germany with pride.

Make a difference

Every donation, big or small, helps us get one step closer to Waterford. By supporting this fundraiser, you are not only helping cover essential costs — you are contributing to the continued growth of Gaelic games in Germany and helping our teams compete at the highest level.

Thank you for your support — we hope to make you proud in 2026! 🇩🇪💪
