Seitdem ich dem deutschen Lied begegnet bin, ist es um mich geschehen: es war Liebe auf den ersten Blick und es hat mich nicht mehr losgelassen.
Ich stehe kurz davor, meine erste Solo CD aufzunehmen, mit Liedern von Richard Strauss, Alexander Zemlinsky und Othmar Schoeck. Eine Konstellation an Komponisten, die es noch nie auf einer einzigen CD gab. Darüber hinaus wird Schoeck kaum gespielt, was wirklich schade ist, wenn man bedenkt, dass er DER Liedkomponist aus der Schweiz ist!
Ich habe für dieses Projekt den besten Liedpartner an meiner Seite, den man sich wünschen kann, und mit dem ich schon das Privileg hatte, zu musizieren: Helmut Deutsch!
Dieser Lebenstraum ist nun kurz davor zu zerplatzen. Die Aufnahme ist aufgrund der Pandemie und den damit verbundenen Verdienstausfällen nicht mehr ohne weitere Unterstützung finanzierbar.

Since my first encounter with the german Art Song (Lied), that was it for me. I fell in love with this music genre and have never stopped loving it!
Soon I will be recording my first solo album, with songs from Richard Strauss, Alexander Zemlinsky and Othmar Schoeck. There is no album yet that includes this composer constellation. Furthermore, Schoeck doesn’t get played much, which is a great pity, because he is the most important art song composer from Switzerland!
For this project I have the best Lied pianist at my side that I could wish for and with whom I already have had the honour to sing: Helmut Deutsch!
This big dream of mine could fall apart. Because of the pandemic and the lack of income that came with it, I can‘t afford paying this recording anymore without support.

How will your donation be spent?
To pay part of the recording costs (rent of the studio, sound ingeneers, piano tuning, travel and acommodation - a fee for the artists is not considered).

Cuando tuve mi primer encuentro con el Lied alemán me enamoré de él y desde entonces ¡ese amor continúa creciendo!
Dentro de poco tiempo grabaré mi primer álbum como solista, con Lieder (canciones) de Richard Strauss, Alexander Zemlinsky y Othmar Schoeck. Esta constelación de compositores en un sólo CD es única. Además, el compositor Othmar Schoeck no es presentado frecuentemente, lo que es lamentable, siendo prácticamente el único compositor suizo de Lied.
Para este proyecto, tengo al mejor acompañante de Lied que un cantante pudiera pedir y con el que ya he tenido el privilegio de trabajar: ¡Helmut Deutsch!
Este gran sueño está a punto de desplomarse. Debido a la pandemia y a la pérdida de ganancias por la cancelación de mis conciertos, se me ha hecho imposible financiar esta grabación sin apoyo.

¿Qué uso le daré a tu donación?
La usaré para pagar parte de los costos de la grabación (arriendo del estudio de grabación, ingenieros sonidistas, afinación del piano y gastos de traslado y alojamiento. Honorarios para los artistas no están considerados).
