Lieben Dank. This is our new addition, Frodo the cat. For animal welfare reasons, we had him neutered last Monday. Now he is eating carefree again with his friends in Marfa Bay. The feeding and medical care of 20 plus cats comes at a high cost to us. Frodo and the Scuba Cats are thankful for every support. Thank you.

2025 with the Marfa Bay Cats
Valerija S. Vlasov · 18.12.2025
As the year draws to a close, we would like to give you a brief look back at our 2025 with the Marfa Bay Cats – a year filled with happy moments, but also with sad goodbyes. This year, we welcomed new arrivals Maximus and Phoenix, both of whom were quickly neutered. Towards the end of the year, Saga and Loki also joined our colony. Saga appeared in November, nothing but skin and bones, and since then we have been caring for her and helping her regain her strength. Loki still needs to be trapped for his neutering, which is planned soon. Our big boss Kleiner is doing wonderfully after his major bladder stone surgery and is thoroughly enjoying his special food, which he now receives every day.We are especially proud that we were able to successfully rehome two sweet little cats abroad and personally deliver them to their new families – Fortuna found her new loving home in Germany in January and Daisy in France in July.Sadly, 2025 also brought four farewells. In February, we lost Aurora, and in October we had to say goodbye to our sweet old Aphrodite. We were also taken by surprise by the passing of little Robbie and our ever-happy Heidi. These were very difficult times for us.Despite the sadness, we look back – and ahead – with gratitude and hope. We know that we were able to give each of them the best life possible, and we continue to do so for the more than 20 cats still in our care – all thanks to your generous support. We wish you a wonderful Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year.Thank you for standing by us.Valerija, Gorden and the Marfa Bay Cats 🐾

Our First Generation Cat Kleiner
Valerija S. Vlasov · 24.11.2025
Kleiner is part of the first generation of our Scuba Cats – we have known him since 2015. He is a true veteran and an integral member of our little cat family. Recently, he was diagnosed with a large bladder stone, which we had surgically removed at the vet. Thankfully, Kleiner is recovering really well from the operation, and soon we will be able to remove his stitches. However, from now on he needs special food and medication. Of course, we will continue to take excellent care of him – and this is where your support can make a big difference. With your donation, you help Kleiner and his friends stay healthy, happy, and well cared for. Every little bit makes a huge difference!
