Neues Schuljahr - neuer Unterstützungsbedarf

Almost in the city center. The distance is about 16 kms between the villages where pupils live and this Byahi Primary school. This long distance to be done by pupils makes their lives more and more difficult. Banks are still working normally as Kenyan troops are patrolling Goma town. So it's still easy to withdraw money from the bank. I am attaching some actual pictures of the Kanyaruchinya primary school hosting and full of internal displaced people and also the Byahi Primary school. Although Goma is currently safe, the war impacts/consequences on people's livelihoods are very serious and worsening. Best regards, Jean Bosco" Ich weiß sehr gut, daß viele der Angesprochenen hier in vielen verschiedenen sozialen Projekten äußerst engagiert sind. Auch ich "verteile" an verschiedene hilfebedürftige Organisationen und Stellen. Ich möchte wenigstens für etwas Schulmaterial sorgen und werde deshalb meine Weihnachtsgeschenkekasse komplett an Jean Bosco überweisen, damit die Schüler wenigstens Unterrichtsmaterial bekommen und dadurch eventuell eine bessere Motivation, die täglichen 2x16 km zur Schule zurückzulegen. Ich wäre äußerst dankbar, wenn der eine oder andere mich hierbei finanziell unterstützen könnte. Ein aktuelles Foto der derzeitigen Situation habe ich hinzugefügt.

Guten Tag in die Runde der interessierten Unterstützer, hier ein „update“ vom Jean Bosco, der mir Ende Januar folgendes mitgeteilt hat: "Good morning Friederike, This is to confirm that the amount of $950 of donations was received in our account last weekend and handed over to the school. However, as I mentioned before, the community was thinking of putting together a project of "LAYING HENS" in order to take over from donations. Parents could sell chicken eggs from that project and cover themselves the school fees. We are discussing about it for more clarifications and will share it with you as soon as possible. Best regards, Jean Bosco" Durch die überraschende Spende einer Institution, die nicht genannt werden möchte, ist es mir möglich, eine Art "Starthilfe" für das "Hühnerbusiness" zu leisten - 5.000 Euro gehen noch einmal in den Virungapark, wovon ein größerer Teil für das ausstehende Schulgeld bis Schuljahresende verwendet und der Rest in den Aufbau des Legehennengeschäfts gesteckt wird. Sollte noch jemand sich mit dem Gedanken tragen, noch einmal zu spenden, hat man bis Ende März hier auf dieser Plattform noch Gelegenheit. Danach werde ich die Spendenplattform schließen.
