Es ist geschafft!!!

english below Liebe Freunde des Dokumentarfilms, liebe Protagonisten, Daumendrücker, Unterstützer, Helfer, liebe Kulturschaffende dieses Landes, Lang ist es her, dass wir von unseren vielen, kleinen und großen Zwischenschritten berichtet haben. Nun - da gab es eine ganze Menge dieser Schritte und vor allem Hürden, die sich, Dank der Coronasituation, der musikrechtlichen Fragen, der Nichtfinanzierung durch öffentliche Stellen, der vielen Änderungen und Neudrehs, die die Hürden eben so mit sich brachten, ergaben. Doch wo es Plan A gibt, gibt es immer auch Plan B, auch wenns dann dauert (Manchmal braucht es auch Plan C usw...;-) Jetzt aber gibt es endlich richtig gute Nachrichten zu unserem Film und Eure Geduld hat sich gelohnt!!! Denn: UNSER FILM IST FERTIG!! Kaum zu glauben aber wahr! Dabei waren gerade die letzten zwei Wochen voller unguter Überraschungen. Es gab Computerabstürze, Festplatten verschwanden vom Bildschirm und tauchten erst nach gefühlten Ewigkeiten wieder auf, Tonspuren verschoben sich wie durch Geisterhand, die Untertitelung brauchte noch etwas mehr Gefühl für ihre Lesbarkeit, der Abspann noch Vervollständigung und Korrekturen. Da hieß es Luft anhalten und fest dran glauben, dass alles gut wird. Glücklicherweise gibt es Backups und einen aufmerksamen Sounddesigner, der dann die Tonspuren wieder an die richtigen Stellen gebracht hat. Von all dem einmal abgesehen, sind wir wirklich überaus glücklich, denn diese Arbeit ist bunt, voller Musik, Tanz, bildender und anderer Kunst, voller Leben, ein Film, der Wege hinaus aus der Krise zeigt und das mit viel Verständnis, Liebe zur Kunst, Kreativität und kritischem Blick. Wir ließen die Puppen tanzen und die Künstler zu Wort kommen, produzierten Musik und beobachteten die Künstlerszene in der Krise, fuhren dafür von Ort zu Ort, auf Demos und Spielorte, wir suchten die hoffnungsvollen Dinge ohne die beunruhigenden Momente außer Acht zu lassen und fanden neue Wege für ein gutes Miteinander. Vor allem aber fanden wir unglaublich viel großartige Kunst, gemacht von unseren wundervollen Freunden. So ist er auch irgendwie eine Hommage an diese tollen Menschen und ihr Schaffen geworden!! Bevor wir einen Termin für die Filmpremiere verkünden können, sei noch einmal hier gesagt: Tausend Dank an Euch alle!! Ihr habt gespendet, gehofft, geduldig gewartet, wart als Teil des Films auf wunderbar offene, kreative Art dabei, habt Türen zu Drehorten für uns geöffnet, habt kreative Inspirationen gegeben, habt Studios zur Verfügung gestellt und mitgedreht, habt in Fotoalben gekramt, Film- und Tondokumente Eurer Arbeit bereitgestellt, uns Eure bildenden Kunstwerke gezeigt und noch viel mehr. Und das alles hat so viel Spaß gemacht! Also bleibt neugierig, erzählt es weiter und freut Euch auf neue Infos...und vor allem auf den Film!! Susanna & das Filmteam Dear friends of documentary film, dear protagonists, fingers crossed, supporters, helpers, dear cultural workers of this country, It's been a long time since we reported on our many small and large intermediate steps. Well - there were a lot of these steps and above all hurdles that arose thanks to the corona situation, the music law issues, the non-financing by public authorities, the many changes and new shoots that the hurdles brought with them. But where there is plan A, there is always plan B, even if it takes time (Sometimes it need Plan C and so on ;-) But now there is finally really good news about our film and your patience has paid off!!! Because: OUR FILM IS FINISHED!! Hard to believe, but true! The last two weeks have been full of unpleasant surprises. There were computer crashes, hard drives disappeared from the screen and only reappeared after what felt like an eternity, soundtracks shifted as if by magic, the subtitles needed a little more feeling for their legibility, the credits still needed completion and corrections. It was all about holding your breath and believing that everything will be fine. Luckily there are backups and an attentive sound designer who then put the soundtracks back in the right places. Apart from all that, we are really extremely happy, because this work is colourful, full of music, dance, visual and other art, full of life, a film that shows ways out of the crisis and with a lot of understanding, love for art , creativity and a critical eye. We let the puppets dance and the artists have their say, produced music and observed the artistic scene in crisis, drove from place to place, to demos and venues, we looked for the hopeful things without ignoring the unsettling moments and found new ones Ways to get along well. Most importantly, we found an incredible amount of great art made by our wonderful friends. So it has somehow become a homage to these great people and their work!! Before we can announce a date for the film premiere, let me say it again: A thousand thanks to all of you!! You donated, hoped, waited patiently, participated as part of the film in a wonderfully open, creative way, opened doors to film locations for us, gave creative inspiration, made studios available and helped film, rummaged through photo albums, and sound documents of your work, showed us your visual works of art and much more. And it was all so much fun! So stay curious, keep telling the story and look forward to new information... and above all to the film!!
