Description

Dear friends,

On September 30, 2025, our friend Gayenjoro was taken into immigration detention and transferred to Dresden. He is now facing deportation to the Gambia on October 15th, via a charter flight.

This is not just an attack on him - it is an attack on all of us who fight for a life of dignity and safety.

For the past three years, Gayenjoro has tirelessly defended his right to stay. He has been a strong, clear, and courageous voice within SoliMo (Solidarity Movement), even while facing immense personal hardship. Through it all, he stood up - not just for himself, but for others. For those facing deportations, for those without a voice, and for those in urgent need.

He fought together with us.

He gave us hope when everything felt hopeless.

He gave us courage when we were tired.

Now, he needs our solidarity.

It breaks our hearts to see him in this situation. But we will not stay silent. We will fight this inhumane system together. We will do everything in our power to stop this deportation. We are already in contact with a lawyer and are raising funds to cover legal support and other urgent needs for the coming days.

💸 This is why we request you to donate what you can

But there are other ways to help as well!

📸 Take solidarity photos

Hold a sign, write a message, show your face. We'll send the photos to him to remind him: he is not alone!

📝 Raise awareness

Write speeches, organize demonstrations, share Gayenjoro's story. Make visible what is usually hidden. Deportation prisons are a massive violation of fundamental human rights. It is sufficient, for example, for a person to miss an appointment to be detained for the purpose of deportation. No crime or offense is required.

✈️ Contact the airlines

According to our information, Freebird Airlines will be carrying out the next charter deportations to the Gambia. Call them or write to them. Let them know that they are part of an inhumane system and that they cannot stay hidden. Every voice matters. Every email or phone call matters.

📣 Organize and show up

Join or organize protests in front of the detention center in Dresden. Or support the work of the comrades who work in close contact with people directly affected in Dresden.

Solidarity is more than a word.

It means standing up when one of us is under attack.

Let us show Gayenjoro that he is not alone - not today, not tomorrow, not ever.
