Now we are entering the final stretch: our top team of legal experts (I must choose my words carefully here!) is certain: the stolen land will be returned to us – to the true Auroville of Mother's dream! Nun kommen wir zum Endspurt: Unser Spitzen Team von Rechts-Experten ( Ich muss hier behutsam mit der Wortwahl umgehen!) ist sich sicher: Das gestohlene Land kommt zu uns-in das wahre Auroville von Mother´s dream-zurück! Für die anfallenden Kosten für die Rechtsprechung an höchster Stelle bitten wir herzlich um eure Spenden, um diesen brutalen Wahnsinn zu einem rechten Ende zu bringen!

History of the campaign against landgrabbing:

I am setting up this campaign for my good friend Edzard Loesing, whom I had the pleasure to meet in February and enjoying his beautiful place. Unfortunately, everything looks very different there at the moment, the pictures of deforestation and destruction by encroacher-intruders have shocked me.

Edzard has lived in the extraordinary community of Auroville in Tamil Nadu/India for 49 years. There, he has helped to transform dry wasteland into a green oasis for decades. Countless trees have been planted with a great deal of hard work and infrastructure has been created that has also benefited the local population. He has created jobs. With his work with horses, he has as well worked with people with special needs and brought much joy and smiles in their faces.

Now he himself, together with the Community Discipline, has found himself in a very threatening situation due to "encroacher-intruders". Machines and workers have entered and destroyed property, broken through steel fences and cut 960 trees within a very short space of time (2 weeks), some of which were around 35 years old.

What is needed is financial support to redress the issue and try to restore harmony, to re-grow -to re-forest that land once the darkness has been dispelled by the light of sincerity and truth. What is sure is, that we only want to bring back harmony, regrow ...

Historie der Kampagne auf deutsch:

Ich rufe diese Kampagne für meinen guten Freund Edzard Loesing ins Leben, den ich im Februar kennenlernen durfte und der mir seinen wunderschönen Ort gezeigt hat. Leider sieht dort im Moment alles ganz anders aus, die Bilder von Abholzung und Zerstörung durch Eindringlinge haben mich schockiert.

Edzard lebt seit 49 Jahren in der außergewöhnlichen Gemeinschaft von Auroville in Tamil Nadu/Indien. Dort hat er über Jahrzehnte hinweg geholfen trockenes Ödland in eine grüne Oase zu verwandeln. In mühevoller Arbeit wurden unzählige Bäume gepflanzt und eine Infrastruktur entwickelt, die auch der lokalen Bevölkerung zugute kam. Er hat Arbeitsplätze geschaffen. Durch seine Arbeit mit Pferden hat er auch mit Menschen mit besonderen Bedürfnissen gearbeitet und ihnen viel Freude und ein Lächeln ins Gesicht gezaubert.

Nun ist er selbst, zusammen mit der Community Discipline, in eine sehr bedrohliche Situation durch „Eindringlinge“ geraten. Maschinen und Arbeiter sind eingedrungen und haben Eigentum zerstört, Stahlzäune durchbrochen und innerhalb kürzester Zeit (2 Wochen) 960 Bäume gefällt, von denen einige etwa 35 Jahre alt waren.

Was gebraucht wird, ist finanzielle Unterstützung, um die Angelegenheit wieder in Ordnung zu bringen und zu versuchen, die Harmonie wiederherzustellen, das Land wieder aufzuforsten, sobald die Dunkelheit durch das Licht der Aufrichtigkeit und Wahrheit vertrieben wurde. Sicher ist, dass wir die Harmonie zurückbringen wollen ...

>>>Harte Arbeit muss getan werden, Schritte müssen fachmännisch auf allen Ebenen unternommen werden. Uns wurde dringend geraten, hier und jetzt keine Details zu verraten. Aber: Es ist klar, dass eine Menge Geld benötigt wird (10 000,- Euro), "um all die vorhandenen Risse zu erweitern, damit das Licht hereinkommt." ( frei nach Leonard Cohen)
