#FreeHomayoun before the Supreme Court

In seven weeks, we will be back in Greece. Then, the highest Greek court will hear Homayoun Sabetara's case. Like over 2,000 other migrants in Greece, Homayoun has been criminalised for alleged smuggling. We want to set a precedent that this is unacceptable. To achieve this, we need your support. We are not surprised that after the cancellation of the first announced date at the Supreme Court in March, there is again a waiting period of six months. During this time, Homayoun must continue to report to the police station in Thessaloniki every month. He will continue to be unable to be with his children, who live in Berlin. And until then, he must continue to fear for his right to stay in Europe.Help us to raise awareness that Homayoun is one of more than 2,000 people in Greece alone who are affected by this criminalization as so-called “smugglers”.
