Aktuelle Situation in Costa Rica

Guten Tag! Nachdem wir uns schon mehrfach bei allen Spender*innen für die großzügige Unterstützung bedankt haben, geht unser Dank heute in eine ganz andere Richtung. Eine solche Spendenaktion bedarf großen organisatorischen Aufwandes. Häufig klang es in unseren Publikationen so, als wären nur wir deutschen ehemaligen Freiwilligen für alles verantwortlich. Dem ist aber in keinster Weise so. Wir möchten an dieser Stelle unseren herzlichen Dank vor allem an Óscar ausrichten. Er kommt selbst aus Biolley und macht dieses Jahr seinen Freiwilligendienst in Deutschland. Gerade in der schwierigen Zeit von Corona hat er uns tatkräftig bei der Organisation des Projektes und insbesondere den professionellen Übersetzungen all unser Texte ins Spanische geholfen. Auch die Neuigkeiten über die aktuelle Lage konnten nur durch seine aufmerksame Medienverfolgung verfasst werden. Muchísimas gracias, Óscar! Ein weiterer herzlicher Dank geht an Geovanna und Ángela, beide Socias von ASOMOBI. Sie beide haben die ganze Aktion über in engem Kontakt mit uns gestanden. Sie haben geduldig alle Fragen zu Möglichkeiten der Unterstützung und Gerechtigkeit in der Verteilung angehört und beantwortet und vor allem die Organisation vor Ort in die Hand genommen. Muchísmas gracias a ustedes! Schließlich ist Teil unseres Teams noch Laura aus den USA. Sie hat ebenfalls eine Zeit in ASOMOBI verbracht und durch den Kontakt zu ihr konnten wir perfekte englische Texte veröffentlichen. Una campaña de donaciones como esta requiere mucho esfuerzo para organizarla. En nuestras publicaciones muchas veces sonaba, como si nosotras, las voluntarias alemanas somos responsables de todo. Pero eso no es cierto. En este lugar le queremos mandar nuestro agradecimiento cordial a Óscar. Él es de Biolley y ha estado en Alemania haciendo su voluntariado este año. Justamente en este tiempo difícil de Corona él nos ayudó activamente en la organización del proyecto y sobre todo en las traducciones profesionales de nuestros textos al español. Además las noticias sobre la situación actual en Costa Rica se pudieron escribir solamente con su seguimiento atento de la prensa local. ¡Vielen herzlichen Dank, Óscar! Otro agradecimiento queremos mandar a Geovanna y Ángela, las dos son socias de ASOMOBI. Ellas dos están en contacto con nosotras durante toda la campaña. A fundraising campaign like this requires a lot oforganizational effort! In our publications it often sounded as if only we former volunteers from Germany were responsible for everything. But this is in fact not the way it worked. At this point we would really like to express paritculary our sincere and deepest thanks to Óscar. He is from Biolley and is in his voluntary service in Germany this year. Especially in the difficult time of Corona, he actively helped us with the organization of the project and especially with the professional translations of all our texts into Spanish. Furthermore all the news about the current situation in Costa Rica could only have been written with the help of his attentive media follow-up. Muchísimas gracias, Óscar! Another big THANK YOU goes to Geovanna and Ángela, both socias of ASOMOBI. Both have been in close contact with us throughout the whole campaign. They patiently listened to and answered all our questions about the possibilities of support and fairness in distribution and, above all, took charge of the organization in Biolley. Liebe Spender*innen, wir können Ihnen heute mitteilen, dass vom Spendengeld erneut individuell eine Socia von ASOMOBI unterstützt werden konnte. Es geht um Doña Hortensia, eine der Gründungsmitglieder der Organisation. Bei ihr entwickelt sich in der Hand eine sogenannte Dupuytren-Kontraktur, eine Erkrankung der Sehnen, die durch Verkürzung zu einer schmerzhaften Beugestellung der Finger kommt und die Hand stark funktionseinschränkt. In ihrer Familie und im Freundeskreis sammelt sie Geld für die Operation, die aufgrund einer akuten Verschlechterung zeitnah durchgeführt werden muss und wir unterstützen sie darin mit 50.000 colones (ca. 80 Euro). Danke an Sie als Spender*innen! Doch heute haben wir auch eine weitere Ankündigung: Das Spendenprojekt neigt sich dem Ende entgegen. Wir werden die Sammelaktion am 25.09. beenden. Bis dahin möchten wir Sie noch ein letztes Mal ermutigen, selbst als Spender*in aktiv zu werden oder Freund*innen und Bekannte zu motivieren einen kleinen Beitrag zu geben; vielleicht eine*n Nachbar*in? In einer dritten Phase sollen Pflanzensetzlinge für die Frauen von ASOMOBI gekauft werden. Mit nur 5 Euro können Sie eine Familie zum Beispiel mit 30 Salatpflanzen, 20 Frühlingszwiebeln, 10 Weißköhle, 5 Tomaten UND Gewürzen wie Koriander und Petersilie unterstützen. Die frisch gebauten Hochbeete warten auf die jungen Pflanzen! Spanisch: Estimados donantes, hoy podemos informarles que con el dinero de las donaciones se volvió a ayudar a una socia de ASOMOBI. Se trata de Doña Hortensia, una de las socias fundadoras de la organización. Ella padece de una enfermedad llamada contractura de Dupuytren, una enfermedad de los tendones que, al acortarse, provoca una dolorosa flexión de los dedos y restringe gravemente la función de la mano. Sus familiares y amigos recaudan dinero para la operación, que tiene que realizarse pronto para evitar un deterioro de la mano, y la apoyamos con 50.000 colones (unos 80 euros). ¡Gracias por su donaciones! Pero hoy también tenemos otro anuncio: El proyecto de donación está llegando a su fin. Terminaremos la recolección de donaciones el 25 de septiembre. Englisch: Dear donors, Today we inform you that another member of ASOMOBI was again helped with the money from the donations. This time, it was Doña Hortensia, one of the founding members of the organization. She suffers from a disease called Dupuytren’s contracture, a disease of the tendons that causes painful flexion of the fingers and severely restricts the function of the hand. Her family and friends are raising money for an operation, which has to be done soon to prevent damage to her hand, and we are supporting her with 50,000 colones (about 80 Euros or $84 USD).
