English Version below: So lange gehofft und gebangt und plötzlich ist sie da! Irgendein guter Geist ist uns zur Seite gesprungen und hat dafür gesorgt, dass Hafiza ein Visum erhielt, und zwar ein Visum für 3(!) Jahre. Das ist natürlich großartig und viel mehr, als wir uns hätten vorstellen können, aber glücklich, dass es so gekommen ist. Und das Tüpfelchen auf dem i: Hafiza wurde nicht irgendwohin, sondern nach Rostock verwiesen, wo ihr Bruder lebt, der sie wie bisher nach Kräften unterstützen wird. ) Ihr neues Leben hat bereits begonnen. Anosh hatte für sie eine Ausstellung in Rostock organisiert, zu deren Eröffnung sie zu ihrer eigenen Überraschung dann tatsächlich persönlich anwesend sein konnte. Im Anschluss daran wird sie für 3 Monate im Künstlerdorf Schöppingen leben und dort künstlerisch tätig sein, womit ihr erstes Jahr in Freiheit, wie sie es sich immer gewünscht hat, gar nicht besser enden könnte. Prior to her arrival her brother was in the process of organising an exhibition for her and other Afghan artists in Rostock, and to Hafiza's delight she was able to attend the opening in person. Auch liegen der deutschen Botschaft zwischenzeitlich verschiedene Schreiben vor, in denen auf die Dringlichkeit des Visums hingewiesen wird, so vom LWL Museum für Kunst und Kultur, der Kulturstaatsministerin und der Ministerin für Entwicklung und Zusammenarbeit. Jetzt heißt es Ruhe bewahren und abzuwarten, wie der Antrag beschieden wird. Wir sind noch nicht am Ziel, aber ein großer Schritt wurde gemacht, um „ein Visum für die Freiheit“ zu erreichen.
