How Would You Feel?
Mother Mara shares:
"After we emigrated from Germany, my reputation was destroyed. The result?
They took my 10-year-old son – without fair hearing – and sent him against his will to another country. ´Though he lived with me since birth: now 4.5 months without ANY personal contact.
When I tried to fight for our rights in Germany I was told: „You missed the deadline“.
A deadline I never knew about – since we lived abroad, never received any court notification.
My child and I need YOUR HELP NOW.
Without specialized international family lawyers, we have no chance.

Dear Compassionate Hearts,
I write from existential distress. In April 2023, I emigrated from Germany with my now 10-year-old son. Since birth, I had sole custody. His father lived abroad, wanted neither custody nor visitation rights.
But while we already lived in Southern Europe, the father secretly filed a claim in German family court. I wasn't informed, wasn't represented. Neither my perspective nor my son's were heard. Based solely on false and defamatory claims, the full custody was transfered to the father.
I only learned of this later: In July 2025, police stormed our apartment abroad. Under dramatic circumstances, my son was taken from me and placed in a state institution for 2 months. The allegations against me were never investigated – neither abroad nor in Germany.
In September 2025, the court handed my son directly from the orphanage to his father, who immediately took him to the father's home country. We weren't even allowed to say goodbye.

What This Means for My Son
For 3 months now, the father blocks all personal contact – even on birthdays, Christmas, during illness. No legal basis exists for this behaviour.
My son was torn from his entire life:
Away from his mother, his home, his friends, his pets.
He is now living in a country whose language and culture he does not know - With people he's never lived with before.
I was his primary caregiver since birth. Every additional day without contact is an ongoing child welfare violation – help us change this! Please share or donate.

Why We Need Your Support: Your Donation Creates Justice
I continue fighting – in Germany and abroad – so we can finally be heard.
The father employs multiple lawyers per country; I've only managed sporadic representation.
I've already spent over $8,100 (€ 7,000) on proceedings, consultations, translations, travel costs– plus €6,000 (€7,000) for German court costs automatically debited following the proceedings I knew nothing about. Now I'm at my limit.
Specialized lawyers require upfront payment – e.g., I urgently need $1,740 (€1,500) for a lawyer in the foreign country my child lives in now, to file an emergency visitation application. This is critical.
This is about my son's life and well-being, his fundamental rights.
Every day without qualified help solidifies the separation between my beloved 10-year-old and his mom – your donation makes the decisive difference.
Please help my son getting a legal voice– donate now!
