Bitte bleibt dran und erzählt Jackson’s Geschichte weiter , denn jede noch so kleine Spende hilft , Dankeschön 🙏♥️🤗 ENGLISH TEXT Hello again, First of all I would like to apologize to you for the fact that I am only now contacting you, but what happened is what shouldn't have happened !! But as it is sometimes in life, things turn out differently than you think! So, Jackson was still wearing a bandage on the front paw where the IV was! Well, when I woke up in the morning I went to Jackson to see how he was doing! Then I noticed that the bandage was missing! I looked in his playpen, under his pillow, but couldn't find anything! I panicked ! I just thought how dangerous it can be if he actually swallowed the bandage it can lead to a gastrointestinal obstruction! Well, I got my husband out of bed and he drove to the vet! Jackson was given an injection to throw up. It wasn't a pretty sight, it came out front and back and Jackson looked at my husband with an expression on his face as if to say "I'll never do it again, I promise!" 🥴 The little man was so exhausted that he slept the rest of the day! It was enough excitement for us too and we hope that it really never happens again! Jackson shows little progress, and it will take weeks before he can walk on his own. We support him when walking with a special belt under his stomach, at the back he also tilts to the right while his leg starts to tremble on the left. The right back paralysis will definitely last longer, we try not to overwhelm Jackson either, he has to do it at his own pace. We work with a harness instead of a leash because it is easier to control. Jackson met his physical therapist today and we're happy to see that the chemistry between the two is just right. 🤗 She showed us how to massage around his scar. A certain massage technique is also exercised on his back legs from bottom to top in order to activate the nerve pathways. The front legs are also massaged and an exercise is carried out, such as riding a bicycle, i.e. circular movements, in order to strengthen the legs and to prevent a misalignment from occurring. The balls of the feet are massaged and the toes are pulled apart a little so that they are loosened. The physiotherapist continues to treat him 1 to 2 times a week, we can only start hydrotherapy in about 2 weeks, which is more exhausting, even if you wouldn't suspect it! Jackson is still a 24 hour "intensive care job" and we are already pretty tired but we will do everything necessary so that Jackson can walk again on his own, without help! Thanks to all the donations and help that you simply pass on or by passing the link on, Jackson has a very good chance of getting well again! We would like to thank you a thousand times! Without you ……… we really don't know what would happen then !! Please stay tuned and tell Jackson’s story, because every donation, no matter how small, helps ! Thank you. 🙏♥️🤗
