After the devastating catastrophe in Beirut, I am collecting donations here to support the Food Heritage Foundation and Le Passeport Culinaire to cook food for all affected people in Beirut. I know Marianne Abou Jaoude, founder and managing director of Le Passeport Culinaire from Beirut personally. She founded the action Food for Resilience, in which she calls on Lebanese chefs to help the Food Heritage Foundation cook together and distribute food to the people on the streets of Beirut.
My family is from Beirut, relatives of mine still live there and are affected themselves. Therefore I have a very personal relation to the people and this beautiful country.
