Für eine ökologischere Zukunft im Mini Format

Liebe Spenderinnen und Spender, liebe Kretafreunde,ihr habt schon lange nichts mehr von mir gehört. Das liegt daran, dass ich zur Zeit in München sein muss, um meine künstlerisches Lebenswerk in einer schweren Zeit zu bewahren und weiterzuentwickeln. Seit fünfzehn Jahren führe ich w e i s s über den tod hinaus - Bestattungen und Begräbniskunst. Ich habe ein einzigartiges Konzept geschaffen, das Abschied und Kunst, Tod und Schönheit miteinander verbindet.Vor kurzem wurde mein Konzept von einem ehemaligen Mitarbeiter kopiert und direkt neben meinem neuen Standort umgesetzt. Dadurch habe ich viele Aufträge und finanzielle Stabilität verloren - und zugleich meine schöpferische Kraft. Aber ich möchte in der Krise nicht aufgeben.Ich möchte meine künstlerische und spirituelle Arbeit fortsetzen, mein Geschäft in München erhalten, meine Ideen in München und auf Kreta weiterhin umsetzten -meiner Auszubildenden im 2. Lehrjahr einen sicheren Ausbildungsplatz erhalten und mich zugleich heilen, von dem was geschehen ist. Ich habe viel Zeit gebraucht, um zu genesen und neue Kraft zu schöpfen. Noch versuche ich hier in München mein Unternehmen und mich selbst zu stabilisieren, deshalb musste ich alle Projekte in Asfendiles für mich persönlich erst mal bis Mitte Dezember zurückstellen. Die Spendengelder sind aber bereits fast alle verteilt, die restlichen 4.000.- € bringe ich im Dezember mit ins Dorf. LydiaPRESSEMITTEILUNGAsfendyles, Gemeinde Kantanos-Selinos – 21.11.2025Mit großem Erfolg fand heute Morgen die freiwillige Baumpflanz- und Reinigungsaktion im Dorf Asfendyles statt, nachdem die Einwohner dazu aufgerufen hatten, um die kürzlich durch einen Brand zerstörte Naturlandschaft wiederherzustellen.Die Resonanz der Bevölkerung war beeindruckend, da Einwohner, Schüler, Freiwilligengruppen aus verschiedenen Regionen der Insel und das Gymnasium von Paleochora unter der Leitung der Direktorin Frau Aristea Simantiraki sich früh in Asfendyle, oder Asfendilia, wie es unsere Großeltern nannten, einfanden, um das gemeinsame Ziel zu unterstützen.Die Teilnahme von Einheimischen und Auswärtigen sowie von Jugendgruppen wie der Neuen Akropolis und vielen anderen, die aus allen Ecken Kretas angereist waren, bewies einmal mehr die Kraft der Gemeinschaft und der Solidarität.Während der Aktion wurden neue Bäume gepflanzt, darunter Lorbeerbäume, Kiefern, Zypressen und andere.Gleichzeitig wurde der zentrale Wasserspeicher des Dorfes gereinigt und weiß getüncht. Mit diesen Maßnahmen wollten die Teilnehmer der Landschaft wieder Farbe verleihen und, wenn auch nur symbolisch, die „Düsternis” vertreiben, die das verheerende Feuer hinterlassen hatte.Besonders herzliche Glückwünsche verdienen die Einwohner von Asfendyle, die die Initiative ergriffen und sich an die Spitze dieser Bemühungen zur Wiederbelebung ihres Ortes gestellt haben. Mit dieser Aktion haben sie ein deutliches Signal gesendet, dass ihr Dorf Unterstützung und konkrete Maßnahmen benötigt.Konkret fordere ich die sofortige Durchführung von Studien zur Umsetzung von Projekten zur Verbesserung und Instandhaltung des Straßennetzes, Bohrungen und Verbesserung der Wasserversorgung, die Schaffung und Modernisierung von Wasserspeichern sowie Maßnahmen zum Schutz der neuen Vegetation, die aufgrund des jüngsten Brandes äußerst anfällig für Witterungseinflüsse und Beweidung durch Tiere ist. Unterstützung des pflanzlichen Produktionskapitals für Olivenöl nicht nur durch Entschädigungen, sondern auch durch die buchstäbliche Anpflanzung neuer Bäume und die Säuberung alter Bäume. Und die sofortige Entfernung der verbrannten Bäume.   Asfendylés ist ein abgelegenes und oft vergessenes Dorf unserer Gemeinde, das viel zu bieten hat. Mit ein wenig Aufmerksamkeit, der richtigen Planung und gezielten Investitionen kann es nicht nur wiederbelebt werden, sondern auch zu einem Vorbild für nachhaltige Entwicklung und Stärkung der Gemeinschaft werden.Die heutige Aktion war nur der Anfang. With this move, they sent a strong message that their village needs support and substantial intervention.More specifically, I am calling for studies to be carried out immediately with the implementation of projects to improve and maintain the road network, drilling and strengthening the water supply, creating and upgrading water storage tanks, as well as measures to protect the new greenery, which, due to the recent fire, is extremely vulnerable to weather conditions and animal grazing. Support for olive oil production, not only through compensation but also through the literal planting of new trees and the cleaning of old ones. And the immediate removal of burnt trees.   Asfendylis is a remote and often forgotten village in our municipality, but it has a lot to offer. Δημιούργησα ένα μοναδικό concept που συνδυάζει τον αποχαιρετισμό και την τέχνη, τον θάνατο και την ομορφιά.Πρόσφατα, το concept μου αντιγράφηκε από έναν πρώην συνεργάτη μου και εφαρμόστηκε ακριβώς δίπλα στη νέα μου έδρα. Ως αποτέλεσμα, έχασα πολλές παραγγελίες και την οικονομική μου σταθερότητα - και ταυτόχρονα τη δημιουργική μου δύναμη. Ωστόσο, δεν θέλω να τα παρατήσω εν μέσω της κρίσης.Θέλω να συνεχίσω το καλλιτεχνικό και πνευματικό μου έργο, να διατηρήσω την επιχείρησή μου στο Μόναχο, να συνεχίσω να υλοποιώ τις ιδέες μου στο Μόναχο και στην Κρήτη, να εξασφαλίσω μια σταθερή θέση εκπαίδευσης για τους μαθητευόμενους μου στο 2ο έτος και ταυτόχρονα να θεραπευτώ από ό,τι συνέβη. Χρειάστηκα πολύ χρόνο για να αναρρώσω και να ανακτήσω τις δυνάμεις μου. Ακόμα προσπαθώ να σταθεροποιήσω την επιχείρησή μου και τον εαυτό μου εδώ στο Μόναχο, γι' αυτό έπρεπε να αναβάλω όλα τα έργα στο Ασφεντίλες για μένα προσωπικά μέχρι τα μέσα Δεκεμβρίου. Ωστόσο, τα χρήματα των δωρεών έχουν ήδη διανεμηθεί σχεδόν όλα, τα υπόλοιπα 4.000 ευρώ θα τα φέρω στο χωριό τον Δεκέμβριο. Όταν ολοκληρωθεί η διανομή, θα σας διαθέσω εδώ τη λίστα με τη χρήση των δωρεών σε μορφή PDF.Τώρα τα καλά νέα: Υπάρχουν πολλοί άνθρωποι στην περιοχή που οργανώνονται και προσφέρουν πρακτική βοήθεια στο Asfendiles.Γι' αυτό σας στέλνω το δελτίο τύπου από τον πολιτιστικό σύλλογο του γειτονικού χωριού Azugires.Εύχομαι σε όλους σας καλές γιορτές και θα επικοινωνήσω ξανά λίγο πριν τα Χριστούγεννα απευθείας από την Κρήτη. ΛυδίαΔΕΛΤΙΟ ΤΥΠΟΥΑσφεντυλές, Δήμος Καντάνου–Σελίνου – Σήμερα, ώρα 09:30Με μεγάλη επιτυχία πραγματοποιήθηκε σήμερα το πρωί η εθελοντική δράση δεντροφύτευσης και καθαρισμού στο χωριό Ασφεντυλέ, έπειτα από το κάλεσμα των κατοίκων, με στόχο την αποκατάσταση του φυσικού τοπίου που επλήγη πρόσφατα από την πυρκαγιά.Η ανταπόκριση του κόσμου ήταν εντυπωσιακή καθώς κάτοικοι, μαθητές, εθελοντικές ομάδες από διάφορες περιοχές του νησιού, και το Γυμνάσιο Παλαιοχώρας με μπροστάρη τη διευθύντρια κ. Αριστέα Σημαντηράκη, βρέθηκαν από νωρίς στον Ασφεντυλέ η Ασφεντυλιά όπως τον έλεγαν οι παππούδες μας , για να στηρίξουν τον ιερό και κοινό σκοπό. Η συμμετοχή ντόπιων και ξένων, καθώς και ομάδων νέων όπως αυτή της Νέας Ακρόπολης και πολλών άλλων που ταξίδεψαν από κάθε γωνιά της Κρήτης, απέδειξε για ακόμη μια φορά τη δύναμη της συλλογικότητας και της αλληλεγγύης,.Κατά τη διάρκεια της δράσης φυτεύτηκαν νέα δέντρα μεταξύ των οποίων και πικροδάφνες ,Πεύκα, Κυπαρίσια, Δάφνες και άλλα.ενώ παράλληλα καθαρίστηκε και ασπρίστηκε η κεντρική δεξαμενή νερού του χωριού. Με αυτές τις ενέργειες, οι συμμετέχοντες θέλησαν να δώσουν ξανά χρώμα στο τοπίο και να διώξουν, έστω και συμβολικά, τη «μαυρίλα» που άφησε πίσω της η καταστροφική φωτιά.Ιδιαίτερα θερμά συγχαρητήρια αξίζουν στους κατοίκους του Ασφεντυλέ, οι οποίοι πήραν την πρωτοβουλία και στάθηκαν μπροστάρηδες σε αυτή την προσπάθεια αναγέννησης του τόπου τους. Με την κίνηση αυτή, έστειλαν ηχηρό μήνυμα ότι το χωριό τους χρειάζεται στήριξη και ουσιαστικές παρεμβάσεις.Πιο συγκεκριμένα, ζητάω άμεσα η εκπόνηση μελετών με τόχ τη υλοποίηση έργων βελτίωσης και συντήρησης του οδικού δικτύου,γεώτρησης και ενίσχυσης της υδροδότησης, δημιουργίας και αναβάθμισης δεξαμενών αποθήκευσης νερού, αλλά και μέτρων προστασίας του νέου πρασίνου, το οποίο λόγω της πρόσφατης πυρκαγιάς είναι απολύτως ευάλωτο στις καιρικές συνθήκες και στη βόσκηση ζώων, Στήριξη του φυτικού Κεφαλαίου παραγωγής Ελαιόλαδου όχι μόνο με την μέθοδο αποζημιώσεων αλλά με την κυριολεκτική φύτευση νέων δέντρων, τον καθαρισμό παλαιών. Και την άμεση απομάκρυνση τον καμένων.   Ο Ασφεντυλές, είναι ένα απομακρυσμένο και συχνά ξεχασμένο χωριό του Δήμου μας, πού έχει πολλά να προσφέρει. Με λίγη προσοχή, σωστό σχεδιασμό και στοχευμένες επενδύσεις, μπορεί όχι μόνο να αναγεννηθεί, αλλά να αποτελέσει πρότυπο βιώσιμης ανάπτυξης και κοινοτικής ενδυνάμωσης.Η σημερινή δράση ήταν μόνο η αρχή. An alle denen der Wiederaufbau unseres Dorfes am Herzen liegt, an alle die so viel Solidarität zeigen, an alle, die unsere legendäre Gastrfreundschaft schon kennen oder noch kennen lernen wollen.Ich bin Andereas Sisakis, ich habe das Feuer miterlebt. Es war ein erschreckender Alptraum. Innerhalb einer halben Stunde war die gesamte Flora und Fauna des Dorfes zerstört. Wir konnten gerade noch rechtzeitig fliehen, um nicht zu verbrennen. Alles um uns herum ist schwarz, es gibt nichts Grünes mehr.Ich habe schon angefangen ehrenamtlich (ohne Bezahlung) bei zahlreichen Arbeiten zur Beseitigung der Schäden zu helfen. Sobald wir mit Euren Spenden das Material gekauft haben, werde ich mit allen gemeinsam Bäume pflanzen und die umgestürzten Bäume zersägen, um Straßen und Höfe freizulegen und zu säubern. Außerdem habe ich geholfen, die vollständig zerstörte Bewässerungsanlage zu reparieren.Ich werde die Beseitigung der Schäden an der Dorfkirche beaufsichtigen, die wir mit Eurer Hilfe reparieren können. Liebe Spenderinnen und Spender, ihr wunderbaren Unterstützerinnen und Unterstützer,ich möchte meine geliebten Nachbarn und Einwohner des verbrannten Dorfes Asfendiles jetzt nach und nach selbst zu Wort kommen lassen.Damit möchte ich zeigen, wie dankber und begeistert hier alle sind über Eure unglaubliche Solidarität.Mein Nachbar Michalis schreibt Euch folgendes:Mein Name ist Michalis Kalleris. Ich lebe seit dreieinhalb Jahren in Asfendiles und besitze außerdem ein Geschäft in Paleochora. Ich bin hierher gezogen, um mich von der Außenwelt zurückziehen zu können und gleichzeitig mit der Natur verbunden zu fühlen und die wunderbaren Düfte der Berge zu genießen. Am Tag des Brandes wurde ich von einem meiner Freunde kontaktiert, der mich bat, schnell nach Hause zu fahren um zu retten, was ich vielleicht noch retten konnte. Leider konnte ich nicht zu nahe an das Dorf herankommen, da das Feuer das Dorf bereits zerstört hatte. Glücklicherweise gelangte ich weit genug, um einen Nachbarn rechtzeitig zu erreichen und ihm das Leben zu retten. Sein Auto hatte Feuer gefangen, und er lief schwach und gebrechlich mitten auf der Straße. Mit Hilfe eines Freundes konnte ich ihn packen, ihn in mein Auto zerren und so schnell wie möglich die Flucht ergreifen. Jedes Mal, wenn ich aus Deutschland in mein Dorf hoch fahre schlägt mein Puls höher vor Freude. Wir haben unsere persönlichen Namen für jeden Straßenabschnitt kreiert. Spätestens wenn ich in "Schottland" angekommen bin fühle ich mich wieder richtig gut und zufrieden. Es riecht nach Thymian und Zistrosen. Es sieht aus wie in Schottland.Es sah so aus.Jetzt ist alles abgebrannt, ich weiß nicht, wie lange es dauern wird, bis der Thymian wieder blüht.Ach mein geliebtes "Schottland", letztes Jahr hätte ich mir so eine Verwüstung nicht vorstellen können.Ein paar Kurven vor Schottland haben Uli und Gabi sich in Jahrelanger Eingenarbeit ein kleines Haus gebaut, ganz abgelegen, mit wunderbarer Aussicht auf Paleohora von oben.Das Feuer war schon an ihrem Haus, da haben die heldenhaften Bewohner von Asfendiles es geschafft unter Einsatz ihrer ganzen Kräfte das Haus und die selbst gepflanzten Pinien, vor dem Feuer zu retten.Jedes Mal, wenn ich dort vorbei fahre, denke ich daran, was für ein heldenhafter Einsatz der Dorfbewohner von Atugirez das wohl gewesen sein muss. Sicher war es auch lebensgefährlich, denn der Wind hat sich dauernd gedreht und das Feuer in alle Richtungen getrieben.Es gab viele Wunder an diesem Tag und in der Nacht der Feuersbrunst. Und es gab heldenhafte Einsätze. Liebe Freunde der kretischen Natur, der seltenen endemischen Pflanzenwelt und der wilden Bergkräuter, liebe Spenderinnen, lieber Spender,Nektarios lebt in Asfendiles. Der verheerende Brand am 26. Juli 2025 zerstörte die gesamte Natur des Dorfes, und er wäre beinahe selbst verbrannt (er schlief und roch den Rauch erst, als die Flammen vor seinem Haus standen)Bei seinem Versuch, sich mit seinem Auto (das bereits in Flammen stand) in Sicherheit zu bringen, erlitt er schwere Verbrennungen zweiten Grades.Das wenige Geld, das er bei sich hatte, fiel ihm in seiner Panik aus der Tasche und verbrannte. Sein Vermögen in Form von Olivenbäumen verbrannte ebenfalls. Sein Kräutergarten, der ihm ein kleines Einkommen verschaffte, ist jetzt eine Wüste.Glücklicherweise schickte ihm sein Schutzengel zwei mutige Menschen (George aus dem Café in Azogyres und Michalis von Pin up Nails), die ihn in allerletzter Sekunde von der Straße retteten, als seine Kräfte schon nachließen, nachdem er sein inzwischen vollständig brennendes Auto verlassen hatte. Eine Flucht zu Fuß war da schon längst nicht mehr möglich. Das Flammeninferno, angetrieben von heftigen Winden, hatten ihn schon erreicht.Damit Nektarios nach Hause zurückkehren und sein normales Leben wieder aufnehmen kann, braucht er neben der Bewältigung seines psychischen Traumas auch unsere finanzielle Unterstützung.Um in sein zum Glück nur aussen verwüstetes Haus zurückkehren zu können, und um wieder arbeiten zu können, die verbrannten Wassertanks zu ersetzen, den Kräutergarten neu anzulegen, braucht er ein Auto. Unser Dorf liegt 700m hoch in den Bergen und ist nur mit Auto erreichbar.Ich habe Euch viel, vielleicht zu viel, von unsreren langsam wieder genesenden Katzen berichtet. Es ist nicht nur ein Wunder, dass sie vom Feuer verschont geblieben sind, sonder es ist dem unglaublich wagemutigen und heldenhaften Einsatz der Männer in den Dörfern geschuldet, dass sie das Schlimmste verhindern konnten. Wenn man, wie viele Betroffene, die Bedrohung durch diese Feuersbrunst bei ständig wechselnden staken Winden miterleben musste, dann kann man den übermenschlichen Einsatz der Feuerwehr und der zivilen Helfer nur als Heldentat bezeichnen.An dieser Stelle möchte ich mich ganz persönlich bei all diesen Helden bedanken. Es ist ihnen gelungen, alle Häuser zu retten. Mit Eurer Spendenhilfe werden wir, falls die Gemeinde nichts tut, vor dem ersten Regen das Dach des Kirchenanbaus in Asfendiles reparieren.Am 26. Manchmal riecht es auch noch nach Kadavern, die wir bis jetzt noch nicht gefunden haben, weil sie an unwegsamen Stellen, oder unter umgestürzten Bäumen liegen.Gestern war der 80. Jahrestag des Atombombenabwurfs auf Hiroschima und irgendwie bekam ich den Gedanken daran gar nicht mehr aus dem Kopf, erst recht nicht, als wir abends unsere verbrannten Katzen bei der Tierärztin besuchten. Ich weiss, das ist vielleicht ein viel zu banaler Vergleich, aber im Leid einer einzigen winzigen Kreatur können wir vielleich sogar besser als in Superlativen das Aussmaß des Leides erahnen. In jedem noch so kleinen Teilchen steckt das große Ganze unserer Welt. Gestern Abend saß ich noch hier in Azugires im Alpha Cafe, das zum Glück von dem Feuer verschont wurde, und habe mich in die Anleitungen eingearbeitet, wie man einen Spendenaufruf startet. Irgendwie ist es mir dann gelungen, sogar Paypal zu installieren. Meine griechischen Freunde haben mich ungläubig dabei beobachtet, denn die meisten wussten gar nicht, dass es solche Spendekampagnen gibt. Da ich in meinem Dorf noch kein Telefon und Internet habe und auch keinerlei Telefonempfang, sitze ich also heute schon wieder den ganzen Tag im Kafeneon und arbeite von hier aus.So kann ich auch unseren Sammelfortschritt sozusagen live an die Dorfbewohner weiter geben und wir dikutieren schon fleißig, welche Aktionen wir zuerst starten.Wir halten es für am Wichtigsten, dass wir alle so schnell wie möglich wieder Wasser haben.
