+++GERMAN VERSION+++
Sabrina
+++ENGLISH VERSION+++
Hello everyone,
I'm getting back to you with a little update:
1. our problem child Rorro: Rorro has just no luck. First his previous owners put him out tied up in front of the shelter on 12/31/19, then he gets heartworm from a mosquito bite and now he breaks his leg because he is so afraid of thunderstorms and jumps out the window :( So Rorro got the shots for heartworm. We paid 1500 Pesos (approx. 65 Euro), X-rays and urine test, because he had blood in his urine (770 Pesos, approx. 33 Euro), Clopidogrel (prevents blood clots) and Prednisona (119 Pesos, approx. 6 Euro), 3 x bandage changes and worm tablet (350 Pesos, approx. 17 Euro). In addition, we bought vitamin tablets so that Rorro's fur grows back (he also had a bad skin disease) 502 Pesos approx. 22 Euro - we shared this with Sami, because Sami also had a bad skin disease!
We also found a great Foster family for Rorro, so he is no longer in the shelter! We supported them with food (1263,39 Pesos ca 57 Euro) and Omega 3 as food supplement (371 Pesos ca 16 Euro)
- We really hope now that Rorro's unlucky streak is over and he will find a great new family who will give him a second chance!
2. Sami: Sami had very bad scabies caused by mites on his skin! We also found a foster family for Sami, because we can hardly treat such diseases properly in the shelter. We paid 456 Pesos (about 20 Euro) for Sami's food and 849,50 Pesos (about 38 Euro) for special creams for Sami's skin. He already looks sooo much better :)
3. Jicamon: We are very sad because our dear four-pawed friend Jicamon died :( He died of kidney failure. We tried to lower the Phospor level with the expensive medicine Ipakitine (970 Pesos approx. 44 Euro), but unfortunately too late :( Jicamon died a few days later. We are shocked and happy at the same time that he did not have to suffer for long.
4. we also bought 4 packs of Heartguard to protect the dogs in the shelter against heartworm for the month of October and November (1487,40 Pesos approx. 62 Euro).
Thank you very much for all your donations and I will keep you updated.
Best regards from Mexico,
Sabrina
+++SPANISH VERSION+++
Hola queridos,
Sabrina
